Do Software Assurance Benefits expire? Yes! Access to
your Training Voucher benefit expires with your Software Assurance coverage.
Can I use my Software Assurance benefit after my
SA coverage expires?
If you reserve your Training Voucher it with a qualified
CPLS before the expiration of your Software Assurance coverage, it will be
valid for 180 days after the date it was created. Otherwise the Training
Voucher will expire and be forfeited… so be sure to reserve and use them!

What kind of courses can I use my SA Training Vouchers
for?

Public Enrollment Courses at AmeriTeach. –Choose from
our schedule of Microsoft courses for the class that meets your needs.
If a course you want isn't available or if travel is a concern, your SA
training benefits can be used towards other eligible courses provided in
a CPLS classroom, Self-Directed Classroom Learning, and Microsoft
Official Distance Learning.

Targeted Training—On-site seminars and workshops save
you time and money, addressing the specific training requirements of
your team.

Upgrade workshops—Receive specialized training about
specific new features of a product upgrade.

Personalized classes—The training experience meets
your needs using Official Microsoft Learning
Products and the expertise of AmeriTeach instructors.

Application development workshops—Explore development
tools, standards, and techniques needed to build your application.
Topics include the specific capabilities of Visual Basic, SQL Server,
etc. within the context of your application.

Taking advantage of your Software Assurance Benefits
is an important factor in maximizing the
value of your Select or
Enterprise Agreement.
Before you can begin consuming these benefits, however, you must
activate and assign them
on the MVLS site by following these simple steps.

You will begin at
the Welcome page at
licensing.microsoft.com.
Login using your Microsoft Passport, which will
return you back to the Welcome Page.
There will be a link on the left hand column
titled
“Software Assurance Benefits”, under the
grouping
“Administration”.
Click on this link to take you to your “Benefit
Administration” page.

The page you will
see now above says
“Benefit Administration” at the
top.
This page lists all of your agreements.
To filter the list, you can use the dropdown box
on the right side of the screen, or you can search by a specific
agreement number.
To see the Software Assurance benefits associated
with a particular agreement,
click on the
correct agreement number.

The next screen,
“Benefits Summary” will tell
you which Software Assurance benefits are available for activation and
which benefits have already been activated if any.
If you do not see “Training Vouchers” listed please scroll down
to confirm that they are not activated.
To create the Training Vouchers necessary for enrollment, just
click on the
“Training Vouchers” link.

After clicking the Training Voucher link the
“Training Benefit Detail”
page will load. This page
provides a detail of the current status of your Training Voucher
benefit, here you can confirm that you have the necessary available
training days for enrollment.
Once you have confirmed your training benefit information, just
click on the “Create Training
Vouchers” button located halfway down the page.

The Training Voucher generation page is the final
step in creating your Software Assurance Training Vouchers.
Simply update the available fields with your
“Last Name, First Name, Email
Address, and to Select The Number of Training Days”.
The comments section is not necessary, but is good for your
tracking purposes.

You can
create the training vouchers with either your email address or that of
the student. The email
address provided is where the voucher number will be sent, so often
Benefits Administrators will choose to have them forwarded only to them.

If you do use your own email and are not the student for the course
please forward on the student name and email address for processing.

After you have created the necessary number of
training vouchers (5 day voucher for 5 day course, 3 day voucher for 3
day course, etc.), click the
“Submit Voucher List” button and the automated system from Microsoft
will send your voucher confirmations out via email momentarily.
Once you have received your training voucher email
you can either forward the email on or send the voucher number itself to
your AmeriTeach representative for processing.
